The hearings will be held at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber in the second floor of City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue. The events are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20 and Thursday, Nov. 17.

Atlanta and cities across America re-draw representative district boundary lines once every decade, based on the results of the U.S. Census. Atlanta's City Council is trying to create maps with roughly 35,000 people in each of 12 districts.
