Atlanta City Council member Alex Wan to host public safety town hall meeting

District 6 Atlanta City Council member Alex Wan will host a town hall meeting with representatives of the Atlanta Police Department on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the YWCA at 957 North Highland Ave. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m. In the wake of what Wan called "a number of serious crimes" in the area, constituents will have a chance to discuss issues facing their neighborhoods and share their safety concerns with police department representatives. Wan's district encompasses much of Northeast in-town Atlanta, including Midtown, Morningside, Candler Park, Druid Hills and Virginia-Highland.
