A 14-year-old boy has been missing for nearly five months, Atlanta police said Friday.

Artreveon Brown was reported missing by his mother,  Semmirror Brown, on Oct. 9 after he didn’t return home in southeast Atlanta on Oct. 4. Brown told police that her son is a frequent runaway, but that he usually stays with a friend and returns a few days later.

When that friend came to Brown’s home searching for Artreveon, his mother became worried, a police report said.

Anyone with information may call 911 or 404-546-4260.
