Sharing the road with bicycles is the right thing to do, although it is not always easy.

Recently, a cyclist filled with a sense of his "rights" was clogging up the road in front of me, traveling 12 mph and letting drivers know, in no uncertain terms, that his was a legitimate vehicle and he was asserting his inalienable right to a chunk of asphalt.

With more people bicycling, and even more driving, we have ill feelings and bad manners on two wheels and four.

Can drivers please check their rage? Can cyclists please check their sanctimonious preening?
