Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said he was “disturbed” when he saw recent viral videos of the shooting by police in Baton Rouge and the aftermath of a man shot by an officer in Minnesota.

“What did it look like? It looked bad,” Turner told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently when asked about what he saw in the footage.

“I’m constantly thinking about tactics and how a situation could have been dealt with differently,” said Turner, who has grown weary of protests in Atlanta over the shootings in other states.

But the chief also said he didn’t want to be critical of another situation.

And he urged the public to “allow the investigation to continue. Allow those authorities to make the decision, once they get the information, to do the right thing.”
