A 17-year-old man and a female juvenile were arrested Tuesday in connection with two burglaries and a carjacking in Sandy Springs, police said.

The victim of a Monday night carjacking told police he felt like he was being followed to his home after he got some money from an ATM on Chamblee Dunwoody Road, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

When the man pulled into his driveway, two men with guns jumped out and took his phone, wallet and the keys to his Lexus, the victim told police. The suspects drove off in the Lexus, followed by a red SUV, police said.

Dunwoody police officers spotted the two vehicles and attempted to stop them. The red SUV stopped and the driver fled. A passenger was immediately arrested and the driver was taken into custody nearby, without incident, police said.

Police on Wednesday identified Kaleb Jones of Lithonia as one of the two arrested. He was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, two counts of burglary, hijacking a motor vehicle, theft by receiving stolen property, three counts of theft by taking and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony.

His next court date is Tuesday.

In the SUV, which was reported stolen out of DeKalb County, detectives located several items linked to two burglaries that occurred earlier the same day in Sandy Springs.

A third juvenile suspect has been identified and Sandy Springs police are working to identify a fourth suspect.
