Police have arrested a man for allegedly killing an innocent bystander in a  northwest Atlanta shooting that stemmed from an argument.

Two other people were injured on March 5 when Antonio Barron began shooting outside a store at 1177 Joseph E. Boone Blvd., killing Edna Walker, police said.

Barron was arrested on Monday and charged with murder, felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

His bond has been set at $10,000, according to jail records.

Witnesses and family members said Walker, 52, was standing outside her apartment watching people walk by when the shooting began.

Police said the an argument between Barron and another man sparked the shooting, and the other man was injured by the gunfire.

APD spokeswoman  Kim Jones said Walker was not a target.

“The female victim was unintentionally shot,” Jones told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday in an email.

A third victim, she said, was later found to have been shot in the foot.

Police continue to investigate.
