DeKalb County police are searching for three suspects accused of an armed carjacking and robbery at a Publix.

The crew pulled into the parking lot at 3469 Flakes Mills Road off Flat Shoals Parkway in a black Honda Pilot early last Sunday, police said. Immediately one of the suspects pointed a gun with a laser sight at one of the victims.

DeKalb County police say trio of armed robbers used this Honda Pilot to drive to a Publix to commit a carjacking last week.

The victims were with two cars, parked side-by-side, according to security camera footage released by police.

At about 1:20 a.m., one of the suspects stole a dark 2015 Kia Optima, whose tag was CFA7390, police said.

Another tried to steal the other car but was unsuccessful, apparently because he couldn’t get the car to drive, the video shows.

One suspect took a gold necklace from one of the victims before the remaining two suspects drove away in the Honda Pilot.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Detective J. Kearney at 404-286-7992 of jgkearney@dekalbcountyga.gov.
