57 APS students get nod for performance on advanced exams

Fifty-seven Atlanta Public Schools high school students earned special recognition for their achievement on 2011 Advanced Placement exams. The exams are given at the end of the college-level Advanced Placement courses, and can translate to college credit. Those who score exceptionally on the exams can earn "Scholar Awards" recognition. In Atlanta, students from Grady, Douglass, Mays, North Atlanta and Washington high schools earned the recognition. To see the names of those honored, visit http://talkupaps.wordpress.com.
