Fifty-seven Atlanta Public Schools high school students earned special recognition for their achievement on 2011 Advanced Placement exams. The exams are given at the end of the college-level Advanced Placement courses, and can translate to college credit. Those who score exceptionally on the exams can earn "Scholar Awards" recognition.
