APS schedules hearings on high school changes

Atlanta Public Schools will hold a series of public hearings on the plan to consolidate several small high schools in 2012-13. The hearings are for the New Schools at Carver, Brooker T. Washington, D. M. Therrell and South Atlanta high schools. These schools will transition into "small learning academies," which is a model used in other high schools.
