Volunteer positions are open on Peachtree City’s Convention & Visitors Bureau and Planning Commission.
The CVB, which meets every other month to promote local tourism, seeks candidates with experience in tourism or hospitality who are residents or do business in the city, for two-year terms. The Planning Commission seat is for a three-year term and involves meeting monthly to review conceptual site plans, landscaping plans and other duties related to zoning and land use. Applicants must be city residents. CVB applications are due Sept. 6; Planning Commission applications are due Sept. 13. All must be submitted to Debbie Lemay at City Hall, 151 Willowbend Road.
