You begin to understand the size of Gwinnett County government when you see the total cost of some of the most mundane contracts. Gwinnett Commissioners recently approved the purchase of miscellaneous paper products on an annual contract through Dec. 15, 2020 totaling $524,667 (a 2.8 percent decrease over the previous contract). This multi-departmental contract will provide paper towels, toilet tissue and other miscellaneous paper products for the departments of Community Services, Fire and Emergency Services, Sheriff, Support Services, Transportation, and Water Resources.

The contract goes to low bidders: AASDEL Corporation, Associated Paper, Inc., Athens Janitor Supply Company, Inc., Imperial Bag and Paper Company LLC dba Imperial Dade, Oliver Packaging and Equipment Company, Pollock Investments, Inc. dba Pollock Orora, Southeastern Paper Group, and Veritiv Operating Company.
