Cobb County Water System residential customers are encouraged to register for the Household Hazardous Waste Amnesty Day 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 25 at Jim Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road, Marietta.
No commercial customers will be permitted.
Online preregistration is required through the Cobb Water System account by June 20.
Items that will be accepted, in limited quantities, include paint, mercury-containing devices, fluorescent tube bulbs, lawn care products, auto fluids, auto batteries, cleaners, flammables, cooking oil and chlorinated solvents.
The amount of each accepted item will be specified in the online registration form.
