An ever-busier Kimball Bridge Road corridor in Alpharetta has city planners thinking about improvements.

Officials will present concepts for upgrades between North Point Parkway and Waters Road at a meeting 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at New Prospect Elementary School, 3055 Kimball Bridge Road. A public input discussion will follow.

While Kimball Bridge was designed as residential, it’s now a more heavily-traveled connector among a number of Alpharetta and Johns Creek subdivisions and the North Point Mall area. City planners are considering solutions that would improve traffic flow and safety while preserving the street’s residential character.
