Alpharetta residents can question developers and get insight into plans during a virtual community conversation. Representatives for two separate projects - a building and a private home – that require zoning, will be on hand via video and teleconference, Wednesday, to share information. Alpharetta had regularly held the zoning information meeting at City Hall to keep the community informed, said James Drinkard, assistant city administrator.

During the meeting, residents can hear from Diamond Glass Company, located on Kimball Bridge Road. The company is requesting rezoning of its space to office use. In addition, owners of a single-family lot on Milton Avenue want to increase the size of the home, moving it closer to the street.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, developers set up stations at City Hall. “Residents can drop in and interact with developers in an informal setting and let them know of their concerns,” said Drinkard

Visit the city website for details on how to attend the virtual meeting.
