Because of weather-related issues, work is running a little behind schedule for Alpharetta’s annual road resurfacing program, the city announced.

“In order for pavement materials to apply and set properly, temperatures must be at least 45 degrees and rising and conditions must be dry,” the city said.

Crews were at work this week on Lantern Ridge Drive, and would soon be moving on to Lambdin Lane, Welwyn Walk, Morning Mist Court, Ebley Place, Rheims Way, Culworth Manor, Hollymount Road, Grey Abbey Drive, Harrogate Way and Waters Road.

The contract was awarded last October, and most of the 53 roads and/or roadway sections scheduled for resurfacing in the 2019 fiscal year have been completed, the city said. Information: https://bit.ly/2a1L9kd
