Alpharetta’s mayor, city council members and some department heads will go on retreat 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the downtown Hyatt Regency in Greenville, S.C.

Among items on the agenda: the city’s downtown master plan and its commercial development component, park and recreation facility utilization, how the city can make use of the Fulton County library branch which the county will vacate when it moves into new digs, the 2015 budget process and a “wish list” for possible capital projects.

As part of the retreat, city officials will tour Greenville’s downtown, seeking ideas or guidance for development of Alpharetta’s core area.
