Alpharetta offers free document disposal

Alpharetta residents can dispose of confidential papers at a city-sponsored document shredding from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Alpharetta Crossing Shopping Center, 11770 Haynes Bridge Road. Community sponsors for this event are Eco Shredding and Starbucks at Alpharetta Crossing.

Eco Shredding will offer residents and small businesses the opportunity to safely discard confidential documents using a mobile, on-site shredding truck. Residents can watch their documents shredded by one of Eco Shredding's mobile, on-site shredding trucks. There is a five-box limit per resident. The company requests that participants bring one can of food per box. All collected food items will be dispersed to neighbors through the North Fulton Community Charities Food Bank.
