You know all those nods and waves and hellos you get in Alpharetta? Well, it seems Southern Living has taken notice.

The magazine has named the North Fulton city as the 14th friendliest spot in the South.

Savannah, the only other Georgia city named, came in at No. 2.

Apparently, it asked readers to send in suggestions, but it gave no scientific methodology as to how it created its list of "The South's Friendliest Cities 2018."

Whatever, just take the win and run with it.
