The city of Alpharetta and its Natural Resources Commission invite North Fulton County businesses and residents to participate in an electronics and computer recycling collection on Saturday, Nov. 3.

The collection, to be conducted by the city and Atlanta Recycling Solutions, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon at the Alpharetta Department of Public Works, 1790 Hembree Road. “Atlanta Recycling Solutions recycles everything it accepts and materials are never sent to be processed in developing nations; everything is done here in North America,” according to a city announcement.

Computers, DVD players, portable electronics and mobile phones are among the items to be taken free of charge. A $20 charge will apply to acceptable televisions (no projection or console TVs or TV tubes); and a $10 charge, for CRT monitors. No refrigerators, washers, dryers or other large appliances, nor small appliances nor tires will be accepted. For lists of items accepted or not: https://bit.ly/2Rh3FZj
