The Alpharetta Farmers Market opens for the season Saturday, April 13, in a new location this year – in front of Alpharetta City Center beside the Town Green.

The market will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 26 on North and South Broad streets in downtown Alpharetta, according to the Farmers Market website.

Sponsored by the Alpharetta Business Association and Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau, the market offers locally grown produce, natural meat, fresh flowers and plants, hand-crafted gifts, jellies, sauces, soaps, homemade bread, desserts and baked goods, local raw honey and food vendors.

Parking is free, but locations may change due to continuing construction in the area. The market is dog friendly, but owners are asked to keep their pets on leashes and to clean up after them. Information: https://bit.ly/2HM7294
