Alpharetta child’s 45-pound pet tortoise goes missing

A giant land tortoise escaped from his north Fulton family’s yard and is missed dearly.
Alpharetta Animal Hospital shared a Facebook post Wednesday, saying Dudley, the 45-pound pet, escaped around lunch time Tuesday.
The tortoise was last seen in the area near the intersection of Hopewell and Redd roads, the post said.
Anyone who sees the pet should call the clinic at 770-475-7613.
