Alpharetta took home some gold at the annual winter meeting for the Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus.

The rest of Georgia seems to think that Alpharetta’s Convention and Visitors Bureau website is better than all else of its kind in the Peach State.

The Alpharetta Insider Blog took home the award for "Best In Website" on March 28. The site aims to share the things that visitors love and locals can't get enough of. It is an extension of the bureau's website, awesomealpharetta.com.

“It is exciting to win an award for an awesome idea and to be recognized by our own industry organization, Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureau, for the blog,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau.
