Sam’s Club shoppers in Gwinnett County, calm down. Your stores are not closing.

The Sam's Club locations in Duluth, Buford and Snellville are all still open after multiple locations across the country abruptly closed Thursday morning. That includes one location closed in Lithonia.

Calls to all three Gwinnett County locations were answered Thursday afternoon, and employees at each store confirmed that the locations remain open for normal operations. Hours have not changed and stores have not been told that anything will change, employees said.

The closures of other locations occurred the same day that Sam’s Club parent company Walmart announced a raise in its minimum employee wage.

The Buford store is located at 3383 Buford Drive; the Duluth store at 3450 Steve Reynolds Boulevard and the Snellville store at 1520 Scenic Highway North.
