Authorities were given the "all clear" Thursday afternoon after a bomb scare was called in to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention from out of state.

DeKalb County police officers checked over the perimeter and did not find anything, and there were no evacuations.

The CDC said they also looked into a suspicious package incident.

CDC spokeswoman Kathy Harben said the "all clear" was received around 2:35 p.m. and no other details were shared.
