Aldi grocery store approved by Cobb commissioners
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners approved 4-0-1 Tuesday an Aldi grocery store at the northeast corner of Canton Road and Chastain Corners and on the west side of Centerview Drive.
Commissioner JoAnn Birrell was absent.
The rezoning request for the 2.176 acres, including 76 parking spaces, was made by Lisa K. McDaniel, Don Westbrook, J.D. Westbrook, Robert Hightower and Barbara M. Cochran on behalf of the Cochran Family Trust.
