Alcohol license ok’d for Peachtree Corners restaurant

The Peachtree Corners City Council on Jan. 20 approved the alcoholic beverage license application for Newk’s Eatery, 5185 Peachtree Parkway in the Forum shopping center.

The applicant, Greg Lafoe, was given the go-ahead for wine and malt beverage consumption on the premises.

As part of the normal application process Newk’s Eatery passed a background investigation. The application was advertised twice on Jan. 8 and 15 as required prior to approval.
