Airport waits aren't always annoying.

Renee Dingle went to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to pick up her nephew. Waiting for his arrival, the 42-year-old Douglasville woman bought a Mega Millions Quik Pik ticket from the Airport South kiosk.

When she later checked the ticket on the Georgia Lottery's Web site, she saw it matched the first five numbers -- but not the Mega Ball -- for a $250,000 jackpot.

"I said, ‘Am I reading my numbers?'" the occupational therapist recalled. "Then I called the hotline to verify."

Now her nephew is getting new shoes while she and her husband, who have two teenage boys, figure out what to do with their winnings.

The drawing was held July 9.
