The Regional Advisory Councils of the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities have issued a public survey aimed at “Identifying Independence and Recovery Needs in Georgia.”

Fayette County has posted a link to the survey, which is available in English and Spanish, on its homepage at www.fayettecountyga.gov. The 17-question survey asks residents about their knowledge and opinion of such services as the Georgia Crisis and Access hotline and school-based mental health programs, as well as prevention measures and quality-of-life concerns for individuals with mental health issues and/or addictive diseases. Responders may also add additional comments of their own.

Paper copies of the survey are available at the county administrative office at 140 Stonewall Ave. West, Suite 100, in Fayetteville. Replies are anonymous and will be used by the volunteer councils to identify and recommend local priorities to the DBHDD.
