Anyone in DeKalb or Fulton county interested in adopting a furry friend can do so for free this Memorial Day weekend.

LifeLine Animal Project, which manages Fulton and DeKalb County Animal Services, will be waiving adoption fees on all animals from May 25 to May 27 at the shelters in both Atlanta and Chamblee.

The free adoptions will include the pet’s spay or neuter, deworming, and heart-worm test. The animals will also be given required vaccinations and will be microchipped.
