The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter wants to bring a little love into your life this Valentine’s Day.

The shelter can’t help you find a romantic partner, but it can connect you with a furry (or feathered) friend that will shower you with unconditional love and sloppy kisses. All adoptions the week of Valentine’s Day, Feb. 11 through 16, will cost only $2.14.

Cat adoptions typically cost $30 and dog adoptions typically cost $45. The shelter also has three bunnies (BeautyCasanova and Heartthrob), which typically cost $10 each to adopt.

All animals are spayed or neutered before they go home with their new owner. They also receive a medical exam, vaccinations and a microchip.

The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. It is located at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville.
