Acworth will improve Amos Durr Field

The Acworth City Council voted Thursday to award two contracts for improvements to Amos Durr Field on McLain Circle.

North Cobb Electrical Services Inc. will install a lighting system at the field for $42,935.

Woody’s Agricultural Services Inc. will renovate the field for $197,270.

Both projects are funded through the Community Development Block Grant.
