The Acworth Police Department will open its doors to allow residents to get to know the men and women who serve the agency a little better.
The agency will host a Cops, Community and Conversation event from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at the police department.
This event, which is open to the public, will allow residents to meet and greet the officers who serve the city in which they live.
“Solid connections of mutual trust between the Acworth Police Department and the neighborhoods we serve are significant to maintaining public safety and successful policing,” the department said. “We look forward to taking this opportunity to strengthen the lines of communication as well as foster new relationships.”
