An Acworth woman accused or supplying alcohol to an underage party that turned deadly has been indicted for involuntary manslaughter.

Margarita Matteson's son, Robert Matteson, was sentenced to 20 years in prison earlier this month after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter. Matteson, 19 at the time, was implicated in the May 2010 stabbing death of an acquaintance during a party at the Mattesons' home in the 6800 block of Galts Ferry Road.

Matteson's girlfriend, Saphire Foster, 18 at the time, has been indicted for involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence, among other charges. Margarita Matteson, 50, didn't properly supervise the party thrown by her son and attended primarily by minors, according to Cherokee County police.
