Acworth/Kennesaw Health Care facility will be built by Cobb

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners voted 5-0 Tuesday to build an Acworth/Kennesaw Health Care facility.

This facility at 3810 Old Highway 41 in Acworth will be on the same site as the Northwest Cobb Water Reclamation Facility.

A builder will be chosen by the commissioners later this year.

Currently, Cobb and Douglas Public Health uses a converted warehouse at 4489 Acworth Industrial Drive in Acworth to serve the Northwest Cobb community.
