Historic artifacts are being sought to add to the Acworth City Archives.

If members of the Acworth community possess such items and are willing to donate them to the City Archives, Save Acworth History Foundation will collect and/or scan these items from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 6 at Acworth City Hall Lobby, 4415 Senator Russell Ave.

Concerning the city’s history, the items will be shared with residents and visitors in display cases in the new Acworth History Center that is under construction on Main Street in downtown Acworth.

Suggested memorabilia include letters, farm implements, business promotional items, school newspapers, political giveaways, business cards or any type of collection that would illustrate a theme about Acworth and surrounding areas.
