Acworth changes paving schedule
The paving schedule for downtown Acworth has been changed from this week to next week, announced Acworth city officials on April 22. (Courtesy of Acworth)
Acworth city officials announced April 22 that the paving planned this week for Main Street has been rescheduled for April 29 and April 30 from the Caboose to roughly Dallas Street.
The intention is to keep one lane open during the paving process, but expect brief delays.
Storefront parking from Lemon Street to Dallas Street will not be available during the paving.
On May 1 and May 2, paving is scheduled to move to the area under construction on Northside/Southside Drive.
Again, the intention is to keep one lane open during the process to allow access to the businesses located in the construction area.
