Anyone parking at Cauble Park for Acworth’s July 4th Concert & Fireworks needs to be aware that they will not be allowed to leave the park once the fireworks have begun and only when the fireworks have concluded and the crowd has cleared out.
Cauble Park is at 4425 Beach St. on Lake Acworth.
Even those with a parking pass at Cauble Park are not guaranteed a parking place, so they are advised to arrive early.
Those who do not have a parking pass or if the parking is full at Cauble Park will need to park downtown for the festivities which will last from noon to 10 p.m. July 4.
However, shuttles will not be provided from downtown Acworth - except for those with handicaps, beginning at noon.
Free parking for those with handicaps will be available at McCall Primary School, 4496 Dixie Ave., Acworth.
The city of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association will present “one of the largest fireworks extravaganzas in Metro Atlanta.”
Food vendors will be selling a variety of options, beginning at noon.
The Paul Hand Band will take the stage at 5:30 p.m., leading up to headliners “FLASHBACK” at 8 p.m.
Fireworks will begin at about 9:30 p.m.
