Acworth approves electric vehicle charging station

An electric vehicle charging station will soon be coming to Acworth.

The Acworth Board of Aldermen voted 5-0 vote on Jan. 21 to pay Hannah Solar of Atlanta $10,560 with $3,803.50 coming from a Georgia Environmental Finance Authority grant.

The remaining $6,756.50 will be paid by the city.
