An accreditation team is in Forsyth County this week to do an on-site assessment of the county’s 911 Center.

Members of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) arrived Monday to examine the 911 Center's policy and procedures, management, operations and support services.

Agency personnel and other citizens are invited to offer comments. Phone comments will be taken at 770-781-3087 ext. 5686 between 1 and 3 p.m. Tuesday and are limited to 10 minutes. Written comments can be sent to CALEA, 13575 Heathcote Boulevard, Suite 320, Gainesville VA 20155.

A copy of the assessment standards is available at the Forsyth Public Safety Complex, 3520 Settingdown Rd., Cumming.
