Abandoned car crushed by train in southeast Atlanta

An abandoned car was crushed by a train in southeast Atlanta overnight, Channel 2 Action News reported Sunday.

A driver left the car on the railroad tracks on Hank Aaron Drive and University Avenue, police said.

Authorities found the woman walking nearby and were trying to find out why she left the car on the tracks.

No injuries were reported.
