The exit ramp from westbound I-285 to north and south Ga. 400 near Sandy Springs will be closed in the coming overnight hours as work proceeds on a temporary ramp, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

The project is part of the continuing reconstruction of the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

Weather permitting, the I-285 ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly Wednesday, Feb. 13, through Saturday, Feb. 16, GDOT said. The recommended detour is for motorists to continue west on I-285 to Roswell Road, exit and turn left on Roswell to the entrance ramp to eastbound I-285, and take I-285 east back to the Ga. 400 interchange.
