Opening day celebration of the 16th annual North Fulton Golden Games in Roswell

Golden Games participants join together in a group warm up and stretch before the competition begins. Activities included opening ceremonies, field events, including mile and half mile walks, discus, shot put, football and baseball throws and other events.

Willy Chason, 84, from Roswell, competes in the shot put.

Mattie Gore, 81, from Atlanta, competes in the horseshoe toss.

Sandra Alexander, 58, from Atlanta, competes in the football toss. More events take place throughout the month.
