A Cobb County grocery store sold a $40,000 Mega Millions lottery ticket Jan. 7.

A Mega Millions ticket worth $40,000 was sold Tuesday at a Cobb County grocery store.

The ticket was sold Jan. 7 at Publix at 50 Barrett Parkway Suite 1000 in Marietta, Georgia Lottery Corp said. Winning numbers for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing were 25-40-41-52-56. The Mega Ball was 21.

The winner of the drawing has not come forward to claim the prize, Georgia Lottery added.

Winners of Mega Millions drawings have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. The organization added that Friday’s jackpot is worth roughly $80 million to a single winner.
