Volunteers needed in Fulton County to count homeless residents

Fulton County is looking for volunteers for a Tuesday count of its homeless residents.

The volunteers will help count people who are sleeping in shelters and outdoors between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 a.m. Wednesday. It is a point-in-time survey.

Volunteers are needed in both north and south Fulton and will be driving, surveying, distributing supplies or serving food.

The county is used to provide information that is used in efforts to end homelessness.
