Stockbridge Mayor Anthony Ford to host "meet & greet" conversations with the public.

Stockbridge Mayor Anthony Ford is opening his door to residents who want to talk to the Henry County city's top leader on any subject.

Dubbed “Mayor Monday Meet & Greet,” Ford is taking appointments from residents to talk on the fourth Monday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon at City Hall, 4640 North Henry Boulevard in Stockbridge. The series is scheduled to continue throughout the year.

"This series invites our community members to sit and talk with me about anything ," Ford said in announcing the conversation series. "I am interested in hearing from our citizens about the future of our city. This local government belongs to the people of Stockbridge. Let's build the future together."

The conversations come as Stockbridge is still trying to heal after last year's effort to create a new city out of the affluent Eagle's Landing community divided many in the town of 29,000.

The next "meet & greet" will be Monday, March 25. To schedule an appointment, call (678) 833-3348 or email ljackson@cityofstockbridge-ga.gov.
