The Seven Springs Museum in Powder Springs is closed now until its reopening next month in its new home in the Historic Bodiford House.

The museum’s previous location was on Brownsville Road in Powder Springs Park at the railroad tracks.

Built in 1923, the 3,600-square-foot Bodiford House at 4355 Marietta St. in Powder Springs was bought by the city for $175,000 in June 2014 and has been renovated by The Macallan Group.

The final cost will be $765,000, which includes that purchase price.
