Rep. Scott to host education symposium Thursday in Rex

State Representative Sandra Scott (D-Rex) will hold an education symposium titled “Future of Our Teachers: Will You Have a Job if OSD is Successful?” on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center in Rex. The event will focus on the Opportunity School District legislation which was passed during the 2015 legislative session and will be proposed as a constitutional amendment on the November ballot. Teachers, administrators and parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the proposal. The recreation center is at 3499 Rex Road in Rex.
