Lilburn postpones Great American Cleanup

Lilburn has delayed a recycling event due to expected rain.

The Great American Cleanup event scheduled for Saturday has been postponed to May 2. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the parking lot of the city’s Greenway Trail.

The city will collect items for recycling including electronics, cell phones, tires and paper to be shredded. Paint will also be recycled, but for a fee.
