Lawrenceville New Year’s celebration canceled
Fireworks at Dunton Hot Springs, a luxury resort set in a former ghost town in the Colorado Rockies, which is offering a New Year’s package. A number of hotels around the country have created packages that include everything from dancing to a fireworks show, allowing New Year’s Eve travelers to avoid the usual been-there, done-that celebration. Heavy rain has extinguished Lawrenceville’s New Year’s celebration.
Lawrenceville Rings has been canceled because too much rain has saturated Lawrenceville Lawn, where there event was to be held. With additional storms expected, the grass would not have enough time to dry before the event.
The planned fireworks were also canceled.
